A source told me that among the new FE lenses that Sony will show in autumn there will be certainly a new FE tele zoom lens and the long time rumored fast portrait lens. He added that most of the other new FE lenses will ship in 2016 only 🙁

70-200 f2.8, here we go <3 But i also would love something longer, like a 120-300 f2.8 (like the sigma one) or a 200-500 f5.6 (like the new nikon).
70-300G!! But probably just a kit tele zoom.
Most probably, 70-400. What is more interesting, what kind of motor will it have?
Shipping date is not a problem cause my income can’t hold the lenses development speed 😛
Finally Sony – Admin delivers to ! A decent bird lens I hope at least 500mm with some kind of adapter to extend the range 🙂 that would be nice.
Personally I’d settle for a kit telezoom (a wallet friendly 70-300 f4-5.6)
That would be good. It’s not a lens I’d be interested in myself, but it would be good for the system as a whole to round out the budget range, along with a cheap ~50mm lens.
Personally I’d be all over a fast high quality 135mm though.

Tele-Zoom can’t be fast for me, at least for portraiture, and especially when talking about 70-300.
If a 70-200 F1.8 is created, it will be HUGE, and PRICY. So, as I understand SAR Admin, there’s a Tele-Zoom for panda and koala shooters, and maybe another FE lens dedicated to portraiture with FAST aperture.
I will be very disapointed if it’s a zoo lens to shoot stupid birds or safaris elephant’s poo from 10 miles away 🙁

Sony 85mm f1.2 [T2.8] STF please. The 135 STF is too long and dark for me. Don’t wine about what’s technically possible. Just do it.
If Fuji can make a 56mm STF f1.2 then I don’t see why an 85mm lens isn’t possible to design.
I would love an 24-105 f4 FE lens, that it what a lot of want as it is just such a good focal length. I had the Canon 24-105 nice lens but was using it via adapter on my a7 which just made focusing a joke.
i too would love a lens like this or possibly 24-120mm, however, in either case, I am willing to sacrifice a little on the wide angle lens.

300-600 f4.8, 5.0, or 5.6
With 150mm barrel extender for close up/ macro mode and drop in dedicated 1.8x teleconverter…to sell in mid $3000 range.
I vote for a 70-300mm G lens… but it could be a 70-400mm G, which might be good depending on the size… yes, with variable aperture to keep it small…. but it must have high quality optics…
