Seriously, as a former Hasselblad (503CW and 2000-series) user and A7R fanboy, it’s sad to see Hasselblad making such a joke of itself..
How can they say, with a straight face, “strikingly beautiful camera that will enthrall its owners […] by its beautiful aesthetics”? Whatever about function, this form is anything but beautiful. It reminds me somehow of ‘The Homer’ car designed by Homer Simpson.

Even their A99 clone had at least a 24-70mm f2.8 Zeiss lens.

I totally agree, I don´t understand how they´re thinking. Even thou the 28-70 is a pretty ok piece of glass it´s really not what you would expect on a Hasselblad, not even when the Hasselblad is a Sony. Not good enough.
Looks like they found their only market, those among the rising wealth in China, but with bad taste.

I’m from Gothenburg, Sweden, where Hasselblad started. I can assure you that the majority of the Swedish photography community feel very ashamed because of what Hasselblad is doing right now…
Why? They have some pretty dope Medium Format cameras.
Indeed they have, luckily. But still, what they are doing with Sony cameras is awful. Hassy has been an iconic camera manufacturer both for quality and functionality, so to see them making stupid fashion accessories is a shame!
If it helps fund the MF business I`m fine with that.
The body design is so insane that the lens looks too normal and out of place.
