I wish the 35mm Loxia was open box.
There was one at B&H the other day for $1250 open box. Sold in like 15 minutes
Also available at B&H!! Only 3 left.
I’m so glad that I picked both Loxias up at used market, with full warranty. One of them was only 2 weeks old. I bought both from the same guy for just 1600€ including shipping and a nice B+W protection filter. But here in Germany you can find these Loxias from time to time. The 50 is great, but the 35 is an outstanding lens. It is worth the extra money. Until now I had 2 of each in my hands, the 35 were all great. But the 50’s all needed to be fixed. One at a retailer had a problem with the focus ring and the one I’ve bought, had also to be repaired at Zeiss. Due to the fact that it had something inside the optics. But Zeiss didn’t charge me for that and now I have both in perfect condition.
