May I add a preview test of the A6000 by Colorfoto (german only) to the list?

He’s right about the 70-400, if you own the original version there is no reason to upgrade.
The new one does focus quite a bit faster
The new one is white, that alone is upgrade worthy!
I have a few observations from my first days with the 24-70/4 that I’m missing in all of the reviews:
– The lens seems to be parafocal. Not sure if this is achieved electronically but this is great for video.
– The bokeh is probably the best I’ve ever seen on a zoom lens, and even better than many of my Nikon primes.
– The lens is exceptionally small and light. I come from the Nikon DX world, and this is like having a 17-55/2.8 in the size and weight of a 18-105/3.5-5.6.
All of the reviewers that complain about corner sharpness are testing on the A7R. I wonder if it’s a problem of field curvature. Anyway, from my initial tests the lens seems to outresolve the A7 sensor, even in the corners.
What is this s@€% Worldpressphoto contest !!!! Mostly photographies of violence of the world!!! Is it what photographers look for in their job? They’re maybe sick to take the most shocking pics. And for what? For information ? What a BS !!!! If I was representative of contest committee I d reject any pics like these for the contest…. It”s not an horror gallery…. It s photography contest is for art not for sensational news!!!!
That’s what I thought when I saw the pictures 🙁 but it’s also the real world… Sadly…
It’s WorldPRESSphoto, not WorldARTphoto. News are not about beauty, that is. But a lot of these pictures seem to beautify the horror. I guess there is a lot of LR work going on, which is ok with me – but in a way the results lose some impact with the added drama.

Any danger of other models being supported?
I was told by the developer that other camera models will be supported and definitely the A99 was next!
Incorrect, John Sison: the mkII of both the 70-400 and 70-200 are weather sealed. Blizzard condition shooting in Wyoming can attest to that, thank you.
