    1. And sensor reflections and shutter vibration!

No wander sales are not good.

Ah and these little plastic doors on the side of the camera keep opening on their own.

      Weather sealed, my a**

    1. е па щото е сони, а както всички знаем сони предпочитат да не продават.

  1. I have SEL35 and SEL50 lenses… is it worth getting an A7 body to use with these lenses? I have NEX 5R now. I understand there’ll be a resolution drop from 5R to A7, but what about the overall quality and low light performance?

      1. Thanks. Probably will hold off in that case since A6000 lacks the touch/flip screen of the 5R. Hopefully the A7000 will have it.

  2. So how does the trade-in really work? I always get a quote of “0” value for my camera and there’s no indication that there is any sort of deal involved with an A7/A7r.

  3. Where is this text

    I couldn’t find it anywhere

    1. I just talked with the used department customer service over at B&H.
Example. They gave me a quote for $40 for my old ass Canon AE-1. Once I drop off the prepaid UPS shipping labeled box at the UPS store, and they track it as being sent, then they will email me the $300 promo code to use on their website. Then when they receive my camera, they will send me a check or store credit of $40. The on top of that, I will also receive approx. $80 in store credit from their 4% cash back program. Pretty nice!!!!

    2. I went to adorama and they confirmed this after a little prodding. Includes a warranty, memory card and warranty.

  4. Am in no rush to buy and can wait a couple of months; that being said, is it better to buy now or wait a few more months on a better deal for the A7?

  5. Adorama website is useless. No links or anything to describe the procedure. No links to apply for the rebate. Admin blindly add Adorama link without testing to see if the link takes user to informative page.

Click the link above. Takes you to a page that says it’s part of the trade in program. Click the camera, there are no links to the actual program. Worthless.

    1. Agreed website is useless. I went in person earlier today and found that the Adorma deal is real. I received $350 instant rebate ($300 instant and they let me use $50 gift card right then) without a camera to trade in as well as extended 3 yr warranty, a camera carrying bag, and a memory card.

    2. Even worse, if you fill out a used quote request with an older camera, there’s no clear way to indicate it’s for the trade up trade in program. I ended up putting “for a7r trade up trade in program” in my item’s description. I received an email back from Adorama’s used department thanking me, but telling me that my Polaroid EE100 is worthless. I knew it was worthless before; that’s why I wanted to trade it for $300 off a fancy newer camera.
In contrast, B&H’s trade-in form even has a special set-up for the TUTI program and I had my shipping label overnight.

  6. Nothing special about this deal, I got the $300.00 trade in for a broken camera at Bel Air Camera in Los Angeles just yesterday.
