I’d like rather wait till sony makes a higher resolution sensor.
There is no reason to buy a high resolution lens like this until sony makes a camera to match it.
If sony takes another two years to come out with one these lenses will be cheaper and better by then.
If you seriously think a high quality lens is only worthy because of its resolution capability, then you’re a fool and I feel sorry for you. You’re basically saying that there is no APS-C or FF camera on the market capable of producing high quality images and that high quality primes are a complete waste of money.

If you seriouslly think that higher res lenseands are a good thing and higher resolution cameras are a bad thing then your label of fool belongs to yourself.
I am in favor of both higher res cameras and lenses but am opposed to the attitude that high res cameras are not necessary. That is the foolishness I will continue to speak up about.

I was under the impression that with this generation of sensors from pretty much any camera would always benefit from a better lens than changing the camera for a better sensor.
