Im shocked they sell so fast…. given that the budget 28mm is just as good if not better… and the 90mm too
The Sony 28mm is very comparable to the Batis 25mm and a lovely lens, but the Sony 90mm is a stop and a half slower than the Batis 85mm and is a macro style rather than a portrait and is 40% bigger. The Sony 90mm makes for a nice portrait lens, but I can understand why people are going for the Batis over it.
Honestly, Zeiss has handled the manufacturing/shipping of these Batis lenses horribly. I’ve had mine pre-ordered for over five months and still have not heard anything from Bhphoto.
