    1. Exactly what I was just thinking. Admin, did you not see that and suspect you were being trolled?

Happy to be wrong, but also I don’t actually want a smaller body so…

      1. Look at how much thicker/heavier the A7 mkII’s became with the addition of IBIS. Combine that with mic or headphone inputs and we’re looking at a much larger camera. Smaller seems next to impossible.

        1. It may be the reason why it took them so long, to get 4K and IBIS into a smaller body without overheating.
On the other hand I agree that I don’t want a smaller body.

          1. If you tilt the screen out from the A6000 body, there’s not much in terms of space – less than the original A7. All of the thickness increase from the A7 to the A7II was because of the IBIS. I just can’t see how it could work in something smaller, even with the smaller sensor.

We’ll see soon enough, I hope I’m wrong but I rate this as a SR0.

    1. But it won’t.

Someone high up at Sony Imaging hates touchscreen.

Which is a shame, because at most a digitizer adds $15 to construction. More to R&D on the interface admittedly.

  1. Sounds like someone’s wishlist to me. If this camera is indeed going to be a A6000 replacement, I would question most of that stuff on the list. To be an A6000 replacement, it would have to stay in the same price bracket. The specs above would push the body alone to over $1000 (A7000?).

It won’t be smaller if it has IBIS and definitely not lower weight. I guess we will see what (if anything) comes tomorrow.
