According to Fujirumors Fuji is considering to launch a new 33mm f/1.0 XF lens! It would certainly add some “WOW” factor to the X system. Let’s see if they will really do it and how much that fun is going to cost!

If this is made, I’d be surprised if it comes in anywhere under $2000 USD, but here is to hoping.
We have Voigtlaender f0.95 for micro 4/3, so why not f1.0 for aps-c? 😉
XT-1 with this lens… about 2700 bucks. D610 with 50f/1.4G…. about 2000 bucks. Just saying…
Size/weight would be lower for fuji, but resolution and I guess iq would go to nikon. With x-pro2 and higher res sensor, things could change.
The commitment of fuji towards x system is a very good thing nevertheless.
