Amazon (Click here) just issued that warning on the Fuji X100s camera page. And according to unconfirmed rumors it seems that there is a very curious cause. The X100s shipment from Japan has been water damaged! If this is true than you will have to wait a long time before you can get your preorder.
The only store that has a limited amount of X100s in Stock is . And they charge you $230 extra for it 🙁

Sunset Electronics said their shipment was also water damaged. This is getting really weird!
If Sunset’s shipment was water damaged, why are they still listing them, but at a higher price?
I guess that means there will be a bunch of refurbs in a few months…
Presumably we are talking about a shipment to the USA?
I have only recently picked up my new X100s and there is no sign of any damage to it, the box is in perfect condition… etc. etc.
But then I bought mine in the UK from a reputable camera retail shop.
2 years ago it was tsunami damged.
Now it is water damaged.
What’s next?
