Just a few days ago, I told you that Fuji’s HS-V5 tethering software is available in Japan for 17,280 yen ($ 147). We now have the price for the HS-V5 in UK: Calumet is accepting pre-orders for £ 89 here ($136).
It’s rumored here that the next Version of Lightroom will add support for X-T1 tethered shooting.

Aren’t these software free for costumers of other camera manufacturers? I remember that Canon had a great tool for my 50D. Tough I can’t recall a similar tool for my Nikons.
Yep, Nikon surelydoes have it, People that tether extensively know. Because the Adobe tethering troubleshooting guide at step 14 recommends that you have your manufacturers software as a back up tool to troubleshoot. Its called Nikon Camera Control Pro.

Adobe offers direct camera tethering to less than a handfull of Camera manufacturers. Its tethering instructions (step 14) suggest that you use the “manufacturers sofware” to aid in troubleshooting. Suggesting that Adobe prefers that each manufacturer provide software to aid in troubleshooting its camera firmare or hardware. There are so many variables that come into play with tethering, wired or wireless. If you don’t have an alternate sofware tethering tool, you are asking for trouble.
