You know, I’m never going to buy them, but I was a little miffed that they weren’t offered for fuji. They make them for samsung NX after all.
It’s about time! For a while now I really want the Tilt Transformer lens that can also be used also with Nikon glass.
Tilt Transformer in use is so close to freelensing that you could do it for free 🙂
Or if you’re serious about TS, get a Kipon Turn360: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BBXOQQE/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00BBXOQQE&linkCode=as2&tag=gremlibehindt-20&linkId=3BJETFOCNIOKCXHQ
It’s already available for Fuji. Just buy Nikon or Nikon mount and use the appropriate adapter. All the Fuji version’s gonna be is a DSLR lens with built-in adapter to fill the space to make up for the shorter flange distance.
Awesome news! I love Lensbabies. They are such fun. I sent an email to Fuji last year asking for these. Yeay!
I’ve always thought the Lensbaby products were massively overpriced based on their utility and image quality. Your money would be better spent on something like the Nik Collection and use Analog Efex Pro to add dreamy bokeh effects.
From my perspective, Lensbabies are “last ditch” lenses for the desperate times when photographer absolutely must shoot, but sees nothing to actually shoot. Think boring, cheap and uneventful wedding receptions in the featureless venues.
A $20 Fotodiox adapter allows me to use all my Canon mount Lensbaby gear with my X-T1 with no loss of functionality. It’s all manual either way.
I am not immediately a Lensbaby fan, so I don’t see any in my immediate future but obviously the more lens options the better.
Really hope they bring out the Lensbaby Tilt Transformer for X mount (it’s a
mount converter to Nikon F with a tilting ball joint which turns, for example,
a manual focus micro nikkor into a tilting macro lens with full focus range).
Why would you send an email to Fuji? They don’t produce these lenses.
