Video removed. Screenshot attached. I saw the video, you don’t really miss anything. Classic Chrome, AF Multi Zone with speed 0.06 sec, instax printer support…

The silver/black version looks pretty good, though.

      1. I got told by someone in here that it was developed for the xtrans sensor -therfore unlikely to come to our x100

  1. Sincerely, I don’t get it. How could this be an improvement? What’s the point in this launch? The X30 was already a disappointment. Frankly, discouraging.

    1. I can almost forgive the X30 as the X20 was a good camera and Fuji tweaked it. However, the XQ1 was a bust. Changing to this black/chrome look sure it not going to be enough to do the trick. It would be like Canon coming out with an S130 and simply changing the color scheme…this is no longer the market. You can almost get away with the current sensor had they dropped a faster lens into it like a f1.8-2.8…BUT 4.9??????

    2. Yes, this is an epic fail by Fujifilm. The 2/3rds inch sensor was a joke 3 years ago and it still is today.

Fujifilm, redefining the term milking it year after year.

  2. I very much hope this is just dumping some parts inventory launch, a very low cost iteration before this line is killed forever. Please Fuji.

      1. Yeah your probably right, but that just goes to show how the lines have become not only blurred, but confusing. To me, the XQ1 was nothing more than a “me too” of the Canon S120. The XQ2 would have had the edge at least had they given it a faster lens which is needed in the $400-$550 price range. The X30 is definitely more for the advanced user, while the S120/XQ1(2) is geared towards the smallest size with a decent sensor size.

          1. Yes, that is right around where Canon stopped progressing with the S series. Is the G7X or RX100 I, II, or III more than you need?

          2. Well, when the XQ1 first came out, it was $500 for the first month and the RX100 I is now below $500. For about the past year, Fuji had the XQ1 in the $300 to $360 price range. So really all depends on where they plan to release the XQ2. Start it out at $500 again, forget it. Price it at $300 and the camera might sell.

  3. I have an X20 and really wanted an X30 with a larger sensor, better low light performance. No, that’s not the X100T because (a) I still want a little zoom and (b) I don’t want to spend that much. XT-1 looks great but I just don’t want to invest in a bag of lenses. So, yeah, general disappointment lately. However, I never liked the Sony RX100 series either, in terms of feel, usability.
