Now also AmazonUS has the XF 16mmF1.4 available for pre-order. I’m curious to see how high it will climb the CSC Lens Best Seller Ranking!
If it’s the lens you’ve waited for, feel free to purchase it via affiliate links on FujiRumors to support my daily work on the blog. Thanks in advance to those who decide to support FR.
And a MUST READ in these days is definitely Rico’s excellent 16mmF1.4 First Look with tons of samples!

got my pre order via your link! Still if a X200 comes out soon my hobby budget is going to get blown (ha ha ha)
thanks for your help, MrGecko!
I’ll now stress my sources and ask about the X200 😉
Hmm i wonder what would justify changing the X100 name. There are still 24 more letters to go you know. 😉 It already had a sensor change and it’s still called the X100, so then it must be a new lens with close focus correction to make it a X200, or maybe a 50mm equiv .. ? i’m in! But then it would probably be a X150 though! 😀
The Amazon.com sales ranking is not implemented very well.
In the overall lenses ranking, the XF 16mm is ranked 39th right now, higher than the Sony E 55-200mm (46th) and the Sony E 50mm (53rd).
In the Camera Lenses ranking all move up one rank.
But in the Compact System Camera Lenses, neither the Sony 55-200, nor the XF appears, but the ranking is led by the Sony E 50mm.
So I conclude, if the numbers that go into the statistics are correct, the 16mm lens is selling better than the best selling CSC lens that is listed in the statistics. Whatever that may mean.
Pre-ordered on BHphoto using your link, Patrick. Hope this helps to support your great site a little bit.
Thanks Alex… this is the best way to support FR. Without people like you, I would have to close this blog tomorrow morning. So thanks for your support
