Regarding Auto Focus: I just did the firmware update last weekend and started playing around with the new system. This is with street photography where I am on the move and quickly pulling up the camera for a shot. I am very impressed with the improvements. I am getting far more sharp shots and almost no back focus issues. Kudos to Fuji!
Still far behind competition in low light performance with poor 0EV AF sensitivity, if you use it for weddings and shot in low light with any subject in move, than half shots go to trash. Try Panasonic GH4, GX7/8 or Olympus, and you get more than 90% shots in focus, not suprice – they offer even -4EV AF sensitivity.
Completely disagree. If you read my post you would see I am not a wedding photographer and no wedding professional would use your suggested cameras. If you review Trenton’s work (an avid poster here) you would see that the XT1 is more than capable in all Wedding situations. That is if you are a capable photographer.
Yeah, with 50% shots in trash because of missed AF,Trenton will not tell it to you, as most X-T1 owners 🙂

When are we getting a HSS mode? It’d be nice to have for those times I need it as 1/250th doesn’t cut it. Come on Fuji, this is something may pros have been asking for.
100% right, but the 1/250s limitation is not by biggest concern in Fuji’s flash solution. It disturbs me a lot more their current TTL mode is having about the kind of internal logic & reliability of what we had back in the 80’s and still this amateur-relabeled EF-42 ‘Sunpak’ is the only flash allowing a bit more than a decent fill-in (and it doesn’t work very well, most of all intuitive either. Another cornerstone of the X-series that Fujifilm seems to neglect so much – I really wonder they are ‘listening’ as much as some think they do – these kind of complaints go back to the very release of the X-Pro1. Only by the complete miss of professionalism in this respect I still won’t consider Fuji X to be a true valid DSLR-replacement, impossible when you’re used to Nikon’s magnificent CLS/DDL.
