I’m looking to get an AX100 for work. It looks like the files will hold up well after grading, even a bit more now that the xavcs 100mb option is there. Anyone with any experience with this cam?
Its a nice little camcorder. Its got peaking, zebras and full independant manual controll of iris, gain and shutter.

55 1.8 is a bit sharper, but this test doesn’t agree with others I’ve seen. That is to say, the 50 1.4 seems a bit off in the pictures of the building. I did my own test- yes, the 55 is sharper. It also has less CA wide open compared to the 50 and less fall off. However, I found the bokeh better on the 50 than the 55. Personal choice I guess.
