Nikon CEO is sure their upcoming new mirrorless system camera will be better than the competition (and better than Sony E-mount of course)

Nikon CEO Kazuo Ushida confirmed at Newswitch.jp that they are working on a new professional mirrorless camera system. In his words this will be a “Nikon-rashii” camera which means it will be unique and different from other companies in terms of performance. It’s still unclear when such a camera will be launched.

I find it hard to believe Nikon will find a way to beat Sony/Fuji’s camera performance at their first shot. But it’s good news if Sony will finally get some real pressure from Nikon.
