The RX10 was overpriced. Yes, I understand the value of the Zeiss lens. The camera handles pretty great, but it is very hard for somone like me to consider paying $1k+ for a 1″ sensor. I did like the camera a lot when I tried it in the store. The $240 savings is simply not enough to convince me, since all the accessories are just batteries, charger, and case. The camera needs something extra. The sensor is capable of 4k. If they added 4k video, they would have customers beating down their doors.
The mistake is that under “Lens Mount Type” it says Sony A-Mount (Full Frame) when it should be Sony FE Mount.
For the price, this is just another remarkably unremarkable camera that follows the Sony consumerism in lock-step. I should point out that I’m a Sony fan but from a different era. Heck, I’m still holding out for something truly remarkable for later this year. As it is I’ll just stick to my dinosaur and party-on.
