+1 Das habe ich mich auch schon gefragt ^^
No les entiendo… ¿qué están diciendo?
Nada de particular 😉
admin kann/ist deutsch? …aha…
Italiener, nicht wahr? 🙂
hmm…Südtirol vielleicht…da wird ja auch besser deutsch gesprochen als in Bayern 😉
Und auf Schwitze deutsch rede
It doesnt tell thoufh wether there ist Auto ISO in M Mode or not as there wasnt on the Nex6.
someone asked that to a reviewer that had the camera for a couple days in dpreview sony nex forums he confirmed that it had that feature, I suspect all new sony cameras will have that from now on.
Sweet! It’s a really handy feature!
Oh no, in camera battery charge, I don’t like that, are there other options ?
You can use an external battery charger with these batteries. Just search “NP-FW 50 battery charger”, you’ll find them on Amazon or eBay at very affordable prices. I got a few batteries from these sites for my 5N, and they work perfectly and cost a lot less than if I bought them from Sony.
Here is a new Sony charger for NP-FW 50 battery.

Looks good!
Rumor has it that Sony has been in ongoing deals with Hasselblad to take over the A-mount. Hasselblad is soon to release a series of A-mount cameras too at the same rumored time as the Sony alleged release, first starting with the Hasselblad HV A-mount camera. Hasselblad is also expected to release a number of Hasselblad and Ziess lenses.
from where that rumor ? if correct = good bye Sony A-mount = hasselblad = to expensive.
this is a load of crap.
‘ Hasselblad is also expected to release a number of Hasselblad and Ziess lenses.’
Hasselblad doesn’t make lenses, all of their lenses are made by Zeiss
troll
Not that i have any info, but it seems plausible. Makes more sense for Sony to focus on one system, and Hasselblad to focus on another.
The fact that Zeiss already makes Hasselblads lenses might just mean that Hasselblad will continiue to have their lenses made by Zeiss and that Dan here did not know that they already did.
It would also explain the name-changing policy that sony has started…
that’s a very simple manual…it seems more like a quickstart guide to me…is that the standard for sony manuals?
it seems so…the ilce-5000 manual is pretty much the same
There is really no ISO Auto, again! Or am I blind?
* I mean ISO Auto setting.
Yeah, I’m curious about that too, if anybody knows anything…
Can you shoot stills while shooting video like the NEX-7?
I could not find that in the manual
This is not the full manual, just the printed quick start guide. It only has a single page about how to use the camera: press the shutter release to take a picture that’s it. It doesn’t even explain the 100+ icons visible on the display, and the countless menu items. For a printed manual, it’s OK, but it can’t be the full manual.
The full manual is here: http://download.sony-europe.com/pub/manuals/consumer/ILCE6000_HG_EN.pdf
My link actually explains how to use every menu item, and the meaning of every icon, which is useful. I could guess 95%, but some are tricky.
Sony USA doesn’t even have a manual. I think it’s not out yet. It looks like they haven’t finished it yet.
this isn’t a manual in its truest sense, just a pdf version of a web enabled document (e.g. if it was a true manual there’d be a table of contents and an appendix; this has neither, which means it’s a bit of a PITA to use offline). All I want is a true PDF manual, that shouldn’t be too difficult, I’d print it on my own dime as well.
Sadly, it’s the best that Sony has, and only on their European site. The USA site doesn’t even have this “web page printed to PDF” thing. I don’t mind the lack of a printed manual, but a professionally formatted PDF explaining all the settings is expected from this kind of product. The official manual simply lists all the menu items without any explanation, which is a total waste of everyone’s time.
What a pain in the ass this is, no manual…..all I have been able to doe since the purchase 14 Aug is take a couple of snap shots……Going to Sony HO tomorrow make a little noise…..
I can’t believe that I spent my hard earned $$ on this camera and there is no manual. What a POS.
