If someone at sigma reads this, please make it in FE mount…
Unlikely for a few reasons. For one FE mount is full frame and this lens is APS-C only. It would require a complete redesign to work with full frame sensors. Secondly, the lens will need to either be longer or completely redesigned since the current layout won’t work as is on an E-mount. By the time all that is done, you will have a bigger, heavier lens. Imagine the extra length a lens adapter adds and that is where you will start with the current design.
FE Mount is DEAD, long live A-Mount!
Buy the Nikon version and a speedbooster.
This wouldn’t work – the Speed Booster is intended for “full-frame” lenses mounted on less-than-full-frame bodies – it squeezes the original field of view down to the APS-C sensor.
In fact what would be needed is the A-mount Sigma lens along with Sony’s LA-EA4 adapter.
Edit: Just realised the Sigma lens is not a full-frame lens. So what would actually be needed is a “reverse speed booster” for using crop-sensor lenses on full frame bodies, if that exists – I don’t know, but I guess not.
It’s called a teleconverter and yeah, there are a few around 😉

So then, if you _really_ wanted to do it, it would need: LA-EA4 adapter + A-mount full-frame 1.5x teleconverter with AF + A-mount Sigma lens…
Yeah exactly, what’s the point. It isn’t a full frame lens nor a CDAF lens, one would be better off just getting an f2.8 FF zoom, like a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8, smaller cheaper and bigger range.
