  1. Unfortunately the 18-135 combo doesn’t have the $80 rebate, so the lens is $380 “extra” with the A77/A65 kits — Still not bad for the combo, esp if you don’t want the 18-50 “kit” lens.

    1. None, though there’s a few non-credible ones. What I’ve seen so far has been quite positive, though. It seems to be better than the 16-105.

  2. There is a review at photoreview.com.au. I bought the 18-135 SAM lens last week for the A77 and from what I can tell that review is quite accurate. It is not quite as sharp as my 16-50 SSM, some vignetting at 18mm, but reasonably fast and quiet. Beats my cheap old Sigma 18-200 by far.

  3. Today (17 juli) I held a A65 with an 18-135 lens at the local Mediamarket Eindhoven (NL), so there are wild ones around in europe too. My own camerastore is eagerly waiting for A37 bundeld with 18-135, but Sony is in short supply. He has nothing heard about when his orders arrive.

I couldn’t try the one in Einhoven, because the battery of the camera was death.
