CIPA just published the worldwide camera shipment report for March. Japanese companies shipped 58% less cameras compared to last year. And this slow path will surely continue for the next couple of months as long as the virus will force lockdowns on countries.
That’s why Sony is going to delay the launch and production of new cameras. This includes the new RX/Cybershot camera that was registered in January and still hasn’t been announced 🙁
