For unkown reasons French readers can enjoy the best prices in whole Europe(!) for the A7 and FE lenses . And this runs over Amazon France and not some unkown little store! In detail this is what you save there:
Over 200 Euro off on the A7 with 28-70mm lens (Click here).
Over 200 Euro off on the A7 body (Click here).
60 Euro off on the Zeiss zoom (Click here).
40 Euro off on the Zeiss 35mm FE (Click here).
I am not sure about it, but I think also non French citizen can buy at Amazon France…

I just want to point out that since the Australian dollar dropped before Christmas the Australian rrp price of the a7 ($1999 AUD) and a7r ($2499 AUD) is close to the best in the world, AND they throw in a metabones smart adaptor and a $30 gift voucher to use at the Sony store.
Swiss price (several retailers) for the A7 + 28-70 is currently 1’647.40 CHF, which is equivalent to 1336 EUR / 1807 USD. Sony 35mm FE 2.8 is 850 CHF = 690 EUR / 930 USD. And so on.
+1, standard prices in Switzerland are lower than this ‘special offer’ on Amazon France…
Swiss may have the best prices, but they do not belong to the EU so do not forget the taxes!
They are part of the EEA, therefore, taxes may not apply.
Taxes do apply.
Swiss VAT is 8%, French is 19.6%, which explains this price difference.
Hendrick the Elder, you made my Day!
Try Wikipedia on this and the import taxes when you buy things in switzerland 🙂
I was blessed with buying from Hongkers through a friend
I picked up the a7r body and 55mm zeiss prime for £1800 all in 🙂
I bought my A7 1200€ at Sony store champs élysées, when they where doing private sales un early December. 20% off on about everything in the store.
Oo-la-la!
