    1. Yes, but it doesn’t focus as accurately, so it can be fast.

If you want better focus (for moving subjects) AND a larger buffer, then it’s A6000.

  1. Hi Admin
Where is the article just after this one
Message to the source: are you sure 100% it is an E-mount camera

      1. The article was:
“Message to a source who just Contacted me”
Sorry dear readers if I have to use SAR to contact an anymous source that just sent me an important rumor.
This is the message for the source: 100% sure it´s E-mount?
PS. If you like you may contact me directely at…

        1. Hi Andrea… I am the source…
          I am 100% sure It is e-mount or a-mount
So, you are allowed to post the rumor now 🙂

  2. In the ISO comparison on Jinju32.tistory, I’m seeing lower noise levels in the NEX-6 than in either the a6000 or the E-P5 at ISO1600 and ISO3200. I think I’ll sit out this “upgrade”.

    1. if you want a true comparion man go to slrclub.
in the link you posted and especially on the higher iso the image is not even focused with the A6000 .

i learned the hard way that some comparison sites are better then others.

        1. well maybe true is a wrong word ..lets say ..reliable .
in these shots the A6000 and the nex 6 are focusing on different points ..if they didnt even check that out ..well…..

    2. I literally cancelled a pre-order based on mounting evidence, and not just from the shots above, the α6k has noise issues at the JPEG level. I’ve seen other shots floating around that show a rather aggressive NR even when NR is explicitly set to off. So, it seems the camera is trying to hide noise by essentially applying finely-tuned Gaussian blurs. Seems N7 still has better noise profile than the α6k

  3. Give or take, the NEX-6 and a6000 are basically neck to neck through ISO 1600 – not too surprising. I’m sure with a decent RAW processor, one might see a larger difference, but it’s all pixel peeping at that point.

This isn’t a bad thing – the NEX-6 was pretty great.

  4. Got my hands on a a6000 today The first impression is a real dissapointment.
In comparision to the NEX 6, the build quality is really bad.More or less, a cheap plasic box.Resolution of the monitor and viewfinder also seems to be lower. Also the shutter is really loud. Strangely the a5000 made a much better impression …..

  5. I have the Nex 6. I bought it as my travel camera. I am pretty sure A6000 is another wonderful camera, especially for the price as well. Unfortunately to me that the kit zoom is pretty average, and the 16-70’s performance doesn’t justify the price tag (in my opinion only). so i can’t find a good walk-around zoom for travel. The 24 1.8 and 35 1.8 however are pretty good.
