This camera is barely 6 months old and it is getting heavily discounted already! I’m beginning to question whether the F3 has a point in the lineup and I have one! Am looking into upgrading to the 6 though.
the F3 has been 100 off for awhile at the Sony store, and you can get it in white, Amazon is black and silver only. I wonder if people are willing to pay more for the WiFi, and the new sensor from the 5R and 6? Could be why the F3 is being discounted. I don’t like the NEX F3 isn’t sold body only. I have no use for that giant, slow 18-55, I’d buy a dSLR if I wanted to carry that load around.
It’s just that the F3 is bulky and ugly. That’s why it gets discounted. The audience for this camera are point-and-shoot upgraders, and you can’t present a camera the size of the NEX-7 to such an audience. The NEX-C3 was way better, more compact and better looking, too bad it didn’t live long enough to take advantage of the new 16-50 pancake lens.
i think in the long run the nex-3 series will be pushed/phased out there are many nex cameras around with the 5n-5r-6-7 and with the rx100 and rx1
