It gets more attractive with every new photo I see… 🙂
I’m not a big fan of the pseudo SLR viewfinder hump (that was one of the reasons to got for a Fuji), but this one looks really really nice.
I love the controls and hope that the next X-Pro 2 will also get dials for ISO, drive and metering, as the X-T1.
I think this is a very smart move from Fuji, because it will attract people that like the Olympus OM series, and clueless people that believe they need a DLSR (and have avoided mirrorless cameras just because of the look). Furthermore, many professional photographers, especially event and wedding photographers, complain in their blogs that they cannot use their X-E or X-Pro for work because “uncle bob” and the customers expect to see a huge, bold and heavy DLSR. The X-T1 may just be the entrance ticket into that market. Clever move.
I also never liked the pseudo dslr look in mirrorless cameas, while loved the rangefinder like look, but this one is very nice. I still prefer the x-e2 kind, though.
This is a beautiful camera. The hump, while not as necessary as before still plays a part in the handling/ergonomics of the camera. I actually prefer a centered viewfinder, vs a viewfinder to the side like a rangefinder. And with the hotshoe on top, it looks like it’s no bigger than it needs to be.
I’m sure this camera will sell well.
Although this camera is APS-C Sensor , it’s much more attractive then the sony’s A7(R)…but ofcause , I need to have a few shot before make any fair comment about which one is better…. A7(R)’s FF sensor is attractive… but the handling is not very good indeed….. (maybe just my opinion?)
