We just ave been told that Sony will not just announce a new E-mount camcorder this Friday! There is a high chance they will also introduce the A6100 and some new E-mount lenses too! It’s still unclear at the time of writing if the lens announcement is purely an updated roadmap or also some real product announcement with preorders and shipping info. I am working now to get more info about this…
You can follow the Sony livestream event live(!) here on Mirrorlessrumors at 9.00 (9am) Amsterdam time.

It seems about the right timing to announce the Sony Zeiss Sonnar T* FE 85mm F1.4.
Still dreaming of small and light 75 mm f2.0. If new Zeiss 85 mm f1.8 is already quite big and heavy in mirrorless terms, 85 mm f1.4 would be really monstrous then and add not too much :-/
