  1. 25 ISO?! Woohoo! I have been wanting a native 25 or 50 ISO for a while. Makes it easier to do long exposures. This may make it hard to debate between a new m43 camera or this…..

  2. 1/1,7 inch sensor… So it’s even smaller than the X10’s 2/3 sensor. Congratulations Fuji, you have just re-invented the Canon S100! Let’s hope it won’t be priced above 400$…

    1. The sensor will be the same size as the X10. A nice pocket camera if they don’t price it too high ($400 seems quite reasonable, given that the LX7 is $500 and the RX100 is $650).

The problem with strong NDs is you cannot combine them with polarization filters (I use polarizers very actively). Although I’d prefer polarization plus NDs of various strength in one glass, as far as I know there is no such a solution. Therefore low ISO on camera would be very welcome.

  3. To improve AF speed on the X-E1 (rumored to be as fast as m4/3 cameras with the new zoom) they must have increased the sensor readout time. That means that probably video and EVF will be improved too?

  4. My XP1 only goes to ISO 6400. If I want 25,600 I have to shoot at -2EV and pull it up in the editor. 25,600 is JPEG only mode.

  5. Have a very great temptation to have have X-E1 as the second format (in additon to m43). However, focus peaking is my condition, owing the lack of native lenses + poor AF of the predecessor (and even with good lenses/AF this feature is a “new standard” for ergonomics).

  6. Hotshoe’s off center of the lens…retarded. Now, not only can you not use an optical viewfinder for the camera, you have to try and enjoy the electronic shite finder they give you. Pass with a capital P.
