Promotionhire claims that the actual price of the Canon ME20F-SH Full Frame mirrorless camera will be much less than the rumored $30,00 price. Actually it will cost exactly half of it! And shipment is expected to start earlier too, by end of October already!

Thanks Canon! It gives some people which want to buy the master of lowlight for slightly less money. The 15.000 is much, too, but for 15.000 I order one!

Even at $15,000 Canon will not sell too many of these cameras….but then again at $15,000 they do not need to sell too many.
The 12mp a7sii is super high iso too, shoots 4k, and is a fraction of the price.

Sony has the chance missed to build the 12 MP Global Shutter sensor in the a7sII! With this sensor will be the distance between these 2 cameras lower.
And the fold away IR Filter is important, too.
Even when Sony had release the a7sII with Global Shutter, they don’t do it with the IR fold technic….
The improvements in the noise reduction from a7s to a7sII are approx 20% not more
Tje a7sii is merely an updated version of the a7s with IBIS and internal 4k rcording.
It wss never intended to be much more than that, and those are important improvements.
I have never heard of a fold away ir filter and have absolutely no idea why anyone would want one.

Yes, the a7sii has much good improvements but the highest ISO is to less for me. I told you months ago on SAR, I search (since many years) for a camera like the ISO Values from the ME20F-SH. And finally is the release 🙂
There is no room on an E mount camera for any kind of fold away filter. Screw on filter makes more sense.
If this new Canon is rite for your needs and you can afford it…get it.
You will definitely have a great selection of lenses to choose from.
