It’s not actually in stock in the UK. The only units which have reached our shores unclaimed are the XC kit boxes. The XF kit and single bodies still haven’t fulfilled pre-orders yet. Current distribution is being diverted to London to fill pre-orders there, then the rest of the country gets its pre-orders, then it’ll be ‘in stock’ for further orders. If you’d look at your Amazon link, for example, they’ve ismply changed it from a pre-order page to a regular order page, with actual order fulfilment being quoted at 3-5 weeks.
A little birdy tells me this is mostly due to pre-orders being very slow at first then spiking in the last week and a half before launch, and orders mostly being for the silver body only when Fuji have mostly made black kits. Estimate is it will be taking ~8 weeks before all SKUs are stocked nation-wide.
update the post… the X-T10 with XC kit is in stock

My shop has managed to get the body in stock, granted it’s the Silver version and not the black but those should be following up soon this week. We’ve just had the 16-50XC kits too..
Good to hear. Seems London has had it’s fill through launch week and the rest of the country is starting to see units trickle through. I’ve been told to expect mine any time in the next ten days.
This is when I envy big city folks. BTW, is silver X-T1’s paint as fragile as silver X-E1’s?
IMO It’s better to buy the XT1 with the 18-55mm and take the 100€ rebate = 1,276€, then buy the XT10 with the same lens = 1,099€. These prices are from a reputable dealer in France… Obviously this depends on your needs and lenses you already have.
