If anyone was going to buy the 18-55mm, you should buy it at Adorama and get at the same time a free X-E1 + hand grip. But act fast, the deal expires tomorrow at 11:59pm EST (or while supplies last), according to information send to me by Adorama.
Here is the deal: Adorama is offering the X-E1 + hand grip in the next few hours for the great price of $649 with 6% reward. So, 649 (X-E1 + 18-55) – 39 (6%reward) – $20 (hand grip) makes 590 bucks.
This means you’ll basically get it all for $590… that’s even cheaper than the current price drop on the XF 18-55 (which is sold for $599 at Adorama, AmazonUS and BHphoto).
Check out the deal here at Adorama.
NOTE: Also the 55-200 is for sale at $599 since several weeks now at AmazonUS, Adorama and BHphoto.

Great deal! Looks like the final push to clear out the last of the X-E1 stock is full speed ahead. Also, I noticed the other day BH Photo (and others I’m sure) are selling the X-Pro1 for only $899. Just a guess (and not a hard one to make), I suspect this is all so they can clear out the last of the inventory of X-E1 & X-Pro 1 bodies before new bodies are announced soon.
