According to a new source, both, the 1.4x Tele-Converter and the weather sealed XF 35mmF2 will be announced late October.
This is a new source, so take the grain of salt, but since Fuji itself said in May, that the XF35mmF2 will be available in November, an announcement within October makes sense… always if Fuji doesn’t decide to postpone everything in the last second.
NOTE: On Febraury 2015 Fujifilm said that the 1.4x teleconverter will work with the following lenses: XF50-140mm, XF120mmF2.8 R Macro, XF100-400mm!
stay tuned,

i hope the tele converter works on all lenses!
source: Fujifilm: The 1.4x teleconverter will be compatible with the following lenses:
XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR, XF120mmF2.8 R Macro, XF100-400mm http://www.fujifilm.com/news/n150210.html
Must be a fast XF100-400 then… F4.x?
no. no such limitations as on DSLRs
no. only working on lenses where the back element is moved inwards (the teleconverter need space).
No to make a good one the converter has to stick in side the lens so no it will not work. Look at patricks post for lenses that will work.
As much as these squiggly drawn arrows add to the peculiar aestethical “air” of fujirumors.com, perhaps we should scramble towards a wacom board for the admin..?
I dunno; Inkscape is free.
And meanwhile the new Sony a6000 replacement got delayed until March. I wonder how this will impact the sensor availability for the X200 and X-PRO2.
I’m going to say none on the X-Pro2. X200 hasn’t even been talked about, so don’t know where you get that loony idea.
Really wish the teleconverters worked on the 56mm.
Or/and on the 90mm
possibly because I’m desperate for it, but it’s kind of hard to believe how long it has been between announcement and release for a teleconverter.
Can’t really understand, what is the need of xf 35 1.4 update (and what is the need of max aperture loose).
What amateures really needs are 23/2 and 60/2 (no macro)
