Camera Raw 8.8 is now available as a final release for Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC. DNG Converter 8.8 is provided for all Lightroom customers and Photoshop customers using versions of Photoshop older than Photoshop CS6.
It adds support for the Fujifilm X-A2 and XQ2.

So does this contain whatever will be in LR6?
Hmm… the right is what LR5 was giving me, and the left is from DNG Converter 8.8. I’m not saying I’ve isolated any variables, but it is clearly better. (My old DNG Converter was so old it wouldn’t even read the RAF)
…and I think this version was a resort to Iridient… (all 100% crops)
I think you should look around the edge of the flame in the second… looks like quite heavy artefacts were created but the colours are betetr and there is more dynamic range or contrast.
I need to be clear that this is nowhere near a scientific comparison… I don’t know whether settings were otherwise the same… just poking around…
LOL, am I the only one who forgot that the X-A2 was even released?
Nope.
