Great to see the 10-24 on sale. Hope to see that in northern Europe too. But it seems like we have different sales, but when they happen usually they are good 15-20 % on almost all lenses.
By the way, that new font of yours is pretty bad 😉
This would be FAR LESS annoying and you would generate a LOT more commissioned sales if you integrated the commercial posts somehow in the design and avoid re-posting the same obtrusive crap daily. It’s petty, unprofessional and in-your face approach. Sometimes less is more. You devaluate your efforts with this type of aggressive approach. My unsolicited advice would be to put a small slider area bellow the header that spans in a different color with the best deals. As is, I see 3 active peddling posts, 10 banners, a side loaded widget from BH…cmon. The site screams: COMMISSION, COMMISSION. Even Ken Rockwell is more subtle.
Nothing against you personally, but try less aggressive approach for a while and you will see more revenue. NikonRumors is a nice starting point. You seem the most zealous “rumors” site admin/owner out of the bunch for commission $$.
The people that can pay for Fuji gear are not stupid. Buying from your site’s links would be out of appreciation for your efforts, no b/c they can’t type ebay/bh/adorama/amazon or whatever in their address bar and avoid paying your cut. You have to treat these people with the same respect not thinking of them as blind idiots that need to be constantly reminded to buy something by following your links.

Yes there’s an emphasis on sales, but some people (myself included) do come here looking for deals. I personally don’t mind this, but I could understand why it irks some. But I also understand why such content is included; this isn’t a charity. Of course, noone can seriously argue that Patrick doesn’t deserve to be compensated for all his hard work in running this website. He’s making it convenient for us to help him continue what he’s doing.
Not to be meanspirited, but this is the internet. Don’t visit sites you don’t like, and if you don’t like a website come up with something better.

About the emphasis on the deals, it’s just that Fuji continuous to offer deals on its gear, almost every month another official discount. And since this is part of the service I deliver to you (tell you when & where you can save hundreds of dollars), I have to report about it.
And sure, if somebody grabs it via FR, a small comission is valued back to FR… and helps me to cover the costs of the site and possibily also the one of my growing need for coffee to keep this blog open 😉
