The prices of the X-E1 are finally dropping also in Europe; after fotomundus and besieroehling (Germany) and the PCHstore (Belgium – they ship everywhere in Europe) now also AmazonDE has cut the prices on the X-E1.

Also AmazonITA (via third party reseller) dropped the price, but just for the X-E1 body (€772-black body). The kit remains at €1,320. Check AmazonITA here.

For even less… these prices have been this low already there for more than a month.
X pro 1 body: 999 Euro
X-E1 body: 779 Euro

So you only save 100 € on the body, it was 899 fromt the beginning.
Also a great site with deals is top-foto.de (I think I wrote about them three times before but I am in no way affiliated). I only got my 55-200 there very early, for less than 610€ in a “spar-set”.
It’s a german online shop but the website also comes in english and dutch.
They have the “amazon-prices” for a while already and with the sets you can go less expensive.

That is a funny webshop: the 55-200 costs 699 euro. But buy it together with a UV filter and then you pay 639 euro
Same thing with other items: X-E1 + 18-55: 1099 euro, idem + 4GB SD: 1058 euro

True. I was wondering about the same thing. Maybe they have some kind of an obligation to stick to the RRP. And only in the bundles they can set prices however they want.
Many shop in Italy report xpro1 as discontinued. it’s not available everywhere.
Yeah, fuji will only go for the mass market with the X-M1 and X-A1 lol
