Those are not exciting enough specs for a GR lover to upgrade, and they don’t compare well to the competition for a new interested buyer. Only thing this camera needs is an EVF and a touchscreen to give it that extra amount of control to make it worth it. A faster lens would be nice too, but it would likely compromise the size a bit (a compromise I’m sure many would be happy to make).
We agree on the EVF,but I think we should sacrifice the screen, the built-in flash or flash shoe to make him stand.
But,the touchsrceen is useless, especially when you can do everything with 2 buttons/levers at your fingertips.
I was hoping that maybe a 40mm and/or 75mm (full frame equiv) would be introduced. 40mm would be a good compromise between 35 and 50. This camera makes first class files, with a good operating system. Why not expand it like Sigma did with their quirky but interesting DP series?
After 20 years of 28mm,I would not put too much hope in a (useless to me) 40/50mm but,a 75/90mm,it’s time that someone decided to produce it.
Ricoh 28mm + 90mm and the rest ends up in the trash.
