As you said, admin, all the companies should learn from fuji. Instead, many other ones just try to sell the latest product, even when the previous one would be more than capable with a fw upgrade. An example? Samsung nx30 has an enhanced remote evf app, letting ppl to change settings like aperture and shutter speed remotely. The older nx300, which has exactly the same processor, besides having the same sensor, recently got a fw upgrade, which did NOT add the new feature.
So shame on samsung and viva fuji.
Samsung isn’t doing anything that Canon or Nikon wouldn’t do. They cripple lower end models constantly to make sure there is a clear difference in what they’re selling.
FujiFilm is gambling on loyalty on both sides to start showing up in big sales. A few hundred thousand camera bodies isn’t a whole lot, is it, when Nikon puts out something like the D3300 and will sell millions of that model alone.
Fuji, give me X-T1 wifi functionality to my X-E2 pleaseee…
