Why isn’t this tech inside an A Mount camera?
Why isn’t Sony supporting the users that supported them?
Not everyone wants the adapters, weaker mount, weak batteries, less operability with gloves on, less LCD articulation, less vertical grip controls, unpredictable fly-by-wire focusing, less AFC tracking abilities, less low light AF performance…
Sure the sensor is nice. 4K is nice. Put it in a pro A Mount body and stop ignoring your professionals. Sony cares more about tempting CaNikon converts than they care about supporting their own well invested users. Just stinks, and I cannot recommend a company like that to any serious or professional photographer.
they didn’t sell well even considering that A99 and A77II are among the best in class.
I like the Yongnuo YN560-tx system myself. Cheap simple and works

No ETTL… works any hotshoe.
He says that he used YN 622C on a7rII and it “just works” what??!? What kind of flash? So he means that Canon TTL is compatible with Sony TTL. Don’t think so
So do I buy the nikon or canon version? Which do you suggest? I’ve been looking up on these guys for awhile. While they don’t allow firmware updates- for the price they are practically free IMO.
I have the Canon version but I think it’s the same as the Nikon it only works with the center pin there is no TTL it is manual only

There might be other advantages to digital beyond that. Might be.
Sony are doing the right thing testing the new technology in the enthusiast E-mount cameras and then will put the new 42Mp sensor in A99II fixing all the issues that are found as well.
A mount users are not abandoned, Sony currently has 3 A-mount bodies – A58, A77II, A99. They will renew them but at longer periods than E-mount bodies because they experiment more in the enthusiast E-mount line.
Unfortunately- I have to agree. Selling last of FE stuff right now. I’m going to wait it out another year and see where it is then. For now, A mount and possibly F mount.
When he was asked about silent shutter, I heard him say the trade-off for using silent shutter is that “the resolution isn’t quite the same”… The trade off is it goes to 12bit. Resolution and color bit depth have nothing to do with each other. I understand Adorama wants to sell some cameras, but wouldn’t it make sense to make sure there’s a real specs nerd on hand to accurately answer questions like that? sheesh

This guy spent half of the session to show tethering shooting? Why that’s nothing new and he shows how easy it is to focus and he use Aperture 11?? You can even be drunk and focus correct.
Why does people ask stupid question like how much do this and that cost, look on the web FFS they are in a big photo store, maybe they can look in the store.
