FE 70-200mm sold for $12 only! And Zeiss Loxias in Stock at BH.

[shoplink 38348 ebay][/shoplink]

A couple of SAR readers wrote me because they managed to buy the Sony FE 70-200mm for $12 only(!) on [shoplink 38348 ebay]eBay US (Click here)[/shoplink]. It will be interesting to see if the seller will honor those orders ( I don’t think so). Some time ago Sony sold the A7r for just $199. And a bunch of SAR readers really got the camera shipped for that price!

Zeiss Loxia: The 35mm Loxia is back in Stock at BHphoto (Click here). The 50mm Loxia is in Stock at [shoplink 38361 ebay]Popflash (Click here)[/shoplink].

    1. I do think they were missing 2 more zeros behind $12.

Because there should be no 3 Yr US Warranty for lens caps.

  1. They have an iron clad price guarantee. ” Purchasing this item means you agree to the above final price regardless of future price changes”

Even I think the lens is worth $12

    1. @ Sam Yang

I guess you are used to those Kodak $12.00 disposable cameras, right? Thus, you think it’s a $12.00 lens?? Go to your CaNikon forums and troll there…SAR is NOT your place.

  2. Well, they either they discovered their error and pulled their inventory, or else they sold ’em all really quick, as the item is already listed as “out of stock”.

  3. Haha, and there’s an E-M1 with the 12-40 going to a buyitnow of $128.

No chance these are being delivered.

      1. you think? lol
granted, you should be “protected” but eBay’s policies, and presumably your own credit card ( i know mine would take care of it in no time), though it’s not worth the hassle…

  4. It’s weird! i bought the $199 a7r but sony just cancel my order…. is it becuz i pay via paypal?

      1. Joke : Do you know how to recognize, in shops, a product Made in France? It’s the most expensive :D…
When the french sellers offer 5-20% discount on items, you are really lucky… There’s no real black friday in France or only for $#itty products :p

  5. Nobody actually got the A7r’s that sold for $199, Sony pulled back the few that were shipped. Everyone else had their order cancelled.

    These will not ship either.

    1. I was (and am) curious about that. Does anybody know definitively if any $199 α7r cameras were delivered?

      1. Someone got the A7R for that price.

But only a very very few people got them. Sony tried to do a FedEx recall on them before they were delivered.

    2. Someone on ebay was selling their a77ii that they got for $399.00 though.
It ended up selling for $750.00. Maybe it was just a good way for Sony to get people to buy A77ii’s instead.

  6. If it were the A-mount 70-200 I wouldn’t be surprised. Get rid of it while you can still get a few dollars from it.

    1. I actually just bought the 70-200 ii for $3000, and no, I will not be getting rid of it!!! at least for the next 5-10 years.

  7. Pfft…. Yeah right…

If they get fully functional new lenses delivered for $12, I’ll eat my pants…
