JB: “For an example of how good the A7S camera is at real-time HD planetary video, check out this video of the planet Saturn taken last week using my A7S and a Takahashi Mewlon 250 telescope running at f 20. Frame rate is 60 fps, ISO = 32,000. Planet Saturn at 600X magnification: https://youtu.be/R77Opsl3X_s“
Marcus: “I’m a daily reader of your excellent site and exclusively shoot with Sony cameras since the legendary DSC-727. Last year I started with concert photography using my RX100m3, and I would like to share my website at www.marcusgetta.photography with you and your readers. Many pictures were taken at ISO 6.400, and I’m delighted by the low-light capabilities of the RX100m3. Enjoy! Best regards, Marcus“

I can’t stand the fast whining voice of this reviewer from TheDigitalDigest.
Photographers and camera reviewers, please stop making videos like this. It’s tedious to watch nearly 20 minutes of what is essentially wallpaper. I actually couldn’t make it through the first 5 minutes, fast forwarded through the rest. I’m not commenting on the review just the fact that you don’t seem to realise what video is. Move the camera dammit! Move the contents more than a little! It’s video. It moves!
He seems to like to hear the sound of his own voice, which is a little annoying. But at the very least, these last two videos of his could have been edited down to 1/4 the length (or shorter).
Marcus, you have some very nice shots but do you have any in color? I’ve done quite a bit of concert photography and have found that you can take a picture that is nearly useless, convert it to gray scale and it will hide many of the flaws that color would bring out.

Thanks for the compliment! No, for the time being I only post-process in black and white, so I have not done any comparisons. You are absolutely right, though: b/w is much more forgiving than color. If you are interested in the EXIF data, please visit my 500px account. It is also under my real name.
Andrea ! this review is biased towards Samsung , you shouldn’t air it. I love sony I have nex 6 ,rx100ii and z3 phones at home. why he is not comparing the newer a5100 to nx500 both without viewfinders , the a5100 with the xavc-s codec , I stopped watching after 5 minutes .
