Anyone know if the trade-in and lens deal can be combined? I’m thinking of buying another A7 to get a discount on the FE2470
Yes it is available in BH Photo, I recently got the deal
Man, I’d love to flip back to Sony with the A99. It’s a much nicer body than my 6D, but dang it, I can’t shake the belief they’re going to kill A-mount.
I hear ya, I’m just an armature, so for me, there are enough lenses to select from for the rest of my hobby years even at FF, but if you plan to go Pro, or are Pro, it’s probably worth waiting to see how serious Sony is about keeping the A-mount afloat.
On the link provided, the NEX-6 kit is currently showing a price of $699, not $599. There’s a few importers selling Japanese NEX-6s for around $600, though:

I want that a99 really bad. I loved the a77 and really like my a900. So tempting….
Maaaan, I wish this was available for Canadians. I mean, I know I could just go ahead and have it shipped here from most of the retailers mentioned, but the duty fees alone would be enough to negate any of the savings. 🙁
