thank you but it’s “Meet local and cash only.”
It’s been on there for at least 4 months. Give him a try.
Today I bought the last open box Panasonic Leica Nocticron 42.5mm from Samy’s, intending to use it with my Olympus E-M5, equipped with an HLD-6 grip. Then I made an unfortunate discovery: The barrel of the Nocticron is so wide that if this lens is used on an HLD-6-equipped E-M5, there is not sufficient room to place one’s fingers between the lens and the grip.
I really wanted this lens, but felt that being unable to use the grip with it would have been too much of a compromise for such an expensive lens. I asked Samy’s if I could please cancel the transaction, and they kindly agreed.
I’ve found this Nocticron/E-M5 issue mentioned on just a couple of sites – not widely discussed at all. Therefore, I want to spread the word about it, for the benefit of any E-M5 owners who might be considering purchasing the Nocticron.
