Impressive feature-set and ongoing support by JVC. It’s exactly what the AF100 replacement could have been (but they gave us the DVX200 instead).
Will it cost $99…?
No he says it’s free! About 30sec from the end.
One of the smartest camcorders out there – killer feature set. If it didn’t have such a prosumer handycam form factor would have seriously considered buying it.
It looks a lot like a prosumer ENG camera, which are pretty different from the small fits-in-your-hand camcorders. The Sony FS-700 has kind of the same shape.
Nice use of the oversized sensor to zoom with the primes.
Lovely camera – I had the privilege to borrow one from JVC Australia for a week and tried all kinds of lenses from B4, C-Mount to M4/3 and Canon EF glass. Shot some lovely video footage around Albany, Western Australia. Hope to get some of my video tests up online soon.
