Aaaaand, they’re gone again. 🙂 Luckily I was able to grab one. Even with the import taxes in Europe this is a pretty sweet deal. Thanks for the heads up.
I wonder, looking at those considerable rebates, if those lenses sell as well as Zeiss hoped… I for one have ascertained that, from a purely optical viewpoint, there is no real reason to choose any of them over the Fuji equivalent. And that’s without even mentioning the sheer imbecility of the name “Touit”.
12mm is definitely wider than 14mm and that alone warrants the purchase for some people.
Agree. For some people, the price is too irresistible. and the Zeiss name still can sell. For economic’s wise, If you plan to hold on long enough. The used price could not fall below fuji’s second hand price. You simply use these lens for free or lose money just a little.
If I own both 14&35, I would not purchase zeiss package. however, if I own just one of fuji’s lens. This deal is too hard to ignore.
Maybe full frame is coming in a year or two and zeiss trying sell as manyas possible to get the R&D investment back?
