“I think that if company invest so much in producing and marketing a new camera, the should invest a bit more and get a better photographer.” This is Sagi’s comment when he saw the X20 full size sample shots.
Now Fuji added some more full size images here (X100s – up to ISO 1600) and here (x20). Take a look by yourself and see if Fuji learned from our critics ;-). And thanks again MJr for the links!

Another fuji X20 bad sample… 🙁
no much detail in this new photos
X100s shots look good, but X20 looks very bad to me. Has this “aquarel style” I know from the HX9V. Definitly still no competitiom for RX100.
How hard is it to shoot a human portrait?
With one picture you’ll be able to see sharpness, noise, DOF and tonal range.
The detail is not there. Typical point and shoot look.
Maybe I’m just in a forgiving mode but the X20 field of trees (no. 11) looks fine to me — not great, but good enough. I’m guessing that the lens performs better at f/4 as used in this image than at f/5.6 or smaller used in the others. Those others show more of the smoothed over lack of texture common in small sensor images.
FWIW, the sharpness setting in the new images is set to hard (2) where the earlier ones were at normal.
for X100S noise is not so well? it seems that x-e1 and x-pro level on iso are much better! the photo at 1600 ISO does not show anything of the potential. there is no detail, any program would do an excellent job of noise so for me it does not show anything good!
(for X20 forget it! I much prefer X10)
