If you plan to switch to the X but you missed the crazy X-deals in June then maybe you could soon have another chance to switch cheap to the Fuji X-system.
According to an anonymous source Fuji will launch a new deal starting August 25: you could save up to $300 on lenses when purchased with X-Pro1 or X-E1.
Stay tuned on Fujirumors that day and let’s see if the rumor is correct. As soon as the deals go live I’ll notify you also via facebook and twitter.
Remember that you can use the rumor box to share absolutely anonymously rumors. If you want you can give yourself a fake name so that I can recognize you in future.
have a great week

Anything on X-Pro1 replacement?
It maybe out there at some point but whats out now is great I think.
So is it 300$ on each lens or all tohether? would love to get x-e1 + 18-55 + 35 for 1500$.
Naturally I bought my stuff 2 weeks ago… lol
Yikes. I almost bought one on eBay last night. The bid went over my limit so decided to wait. Glad I did!
Me too. Sucks!!
me too.. 🙁
That’s nice for those looking to buy into the x-series. But maybe this time Fuji could add some incentive for those of us already here and who just want to purchase some lenses ?!
What was the deal last time? Better? Not as good?
Instant rebates were available on the following lenses when purchsed with a camera body.
Fuji 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens – $300 instant rebate
Fuji 60mm f/2.4 lens – $300 instant rebate
Fuji 35mm f/1.4 lens – $200 instant rebate
Fuji 14mm f/2.8 lens – $200 instant rebate
Fuji 18mm f/2 lens – $300 instant rebate
Will the offer only be on the X-Pro1 and X-E1 bodies, or will the X-M1 also be included in the deal?
Probably x-e1/pro1 only. They have a new kit to go with the x-m1
HUGE DEPRECIATION. A bit insulting seriously, again ??? Difficult to sell a x pro 1 more than 700 buck now. I bought it with all the primes when the edition prestige was released, and god it’s painful.
Still a great camera thought… i’ll keep it in spare, it’s like burning money.
Other than that, i really can’t complain.
Can you identify an electronic good that doesn’t rapidly depreciate in value?
Anything from Apple.
The large depreciation in the XPro1 is a reflection of its overall design (not just its “IQ”) and its narrow appeal. Its also a reflection of how much better the competition is.
Otherwise they would be selling for more, right? The next model will struggle to sell above 1500 … if there is a next model. How many early adopters of the XP1 want to pay top dollar again, easier to wait for the price to fall.
Hard to see the point of a “s” model upgrade. Camera is fine how it is.
That’s pretty flawed analysis. Apple products hold the same price for about a year after their launch and then drop off dramatically as soon as their yearly upgrade is announced, they’re not much different. Just go on Ebay and look at the price of an Iphone 4s: barely two years old and it already goes for half of what it sells on the Apple store.
All electronic goods depreciate rapidly in value. Apple products manage to hold their price point steady for that first year because of the huge demand from people who have to upgrade their phone every year. Their old phones then go onto the market and it depreciates in value. No difference at all to other electronics, really.
Do these deals apply outside of America?
Did Australians get local stock during the last Deals period?
They’re typically U.S. and maybe Canada only.
