  1. I did notice that you earn the 4% cashback on the black body, but not the graphite silver, so that’s another ~$47 difference in cost on top of the $200 pricetag delta.

    1. Who cares, you don’t need to buy the Silver Graphite version of the X-T1.
You have choice. Buy the black one if you don’t like to pay more. The Graphite version is just a special edition.

No reason to be upset about it. If you buy a car a metallic version is also more expensive then a regular common color.

      1. Who said anything about upset? I was just informing others that I put both cameras in my shopping cart and noted that there is about a $247 price difference in them, not just the obvious $200 one.

        1. “Hey, you aren’t a Fuji paid employee, how do you like your Fuji camera?”

“What do you think I am, some kind of shill? No comment.”

          1. If you can’t tell the difference between talking about your own experiences with a product and defending a company’s policies then there’s not much of a discussion to be had here.

          2. what’s wrong with defending a policy you think is correct? FWIW, I also support CVS’s (US pharmacy/general goods chain) policy of not selling tobacco products, is that OK?

          3. You have a specific, political and health reason for supporting CVS
(though, I could argue that they still sell soda, candy, unregulated supplements, and other items that are aren’t especially healthy, so I’m not too impressed). There’s not really any reason to argue on behalf a $250 price hike for a different color finish.
If people are calling out nonsensical, unexplainable, profit based issues within a company then it’s really not your place to tell them to quiet down and just don’t buy. That’s PR’s problem.

  2. People who won’t pay $1500 for a body likely won’t pay $1400 either at this point.

The black friday deals have not even begun yet. Wait until the real deals, and the real price wars, ramp up.
