FR-reader Douglas told me via twitter, that he got the shipping confirmation for his silver graphite Fujifilm X-T1. And Christographer Dao is probably first US-resident, who already received his silver graphite Fujifilm X-T1. He posted an image on his facebook account here.
Anyone else out there who got the shipping confirmation?

Where did he purchase it from?
been available in Australia for some weeks now. The electronic shutter is the interesting feature. Roll on the December Firmware update for teh black X-T1
How does a firmware update create an electronic shutter?
Because it’s electronic. That’s how it’s done in the graphite edition as well…Read the earlier posts here…
The firmware update just enables an already existing feature of the hardware
Sure…. very unlikely as Fuji initially said it would be available late November. I think you have seen the black X-T1.
I own the black one. .I took a look at the Graphite one in Georges camera in Sydney 2 weeks ago
The graphite X-T1 looks gorgeous. I have an X100S, and am looking to buy into Fuji’s ILC system. But I can’t justify upgrading from my X100S without a jump in sensor tech. I’m a RAW shooter, and focus improvments etc notwithstanding, the image quality of the x-t1 is exactly the same. It’s th result that matters: Better dynamic range and low light performance please!
Here’s hoping the X-pro2’s new sensor trickles down to the x-t1 graphite soon.
I agree with most part of your comment. The image quality of the X-T1 Graphite is certainly not different from that of an X-E2 or X100S, however, certain styles of photography may be better served by a camera that sports a more responsive AF together with some other exclusive features.
In my case, I did not get the original black X-T1 and only considered the purchase of the Graphite Silver version when I decided to preorder the Fujinon 50-140 F2.8. I believe the X-T1 will be better balanced (even more with a grip) when attached to this big lens than my X-E2, which I really love and I will continue to use with my smaller lenses.
For those who already own a X-T1 there’s obviously no reason to exchange it with the Graphite version, but since I have the chance to choose, I opted for the new iteration simply because I like it more than the all-back X-T1.
This was meant as a reply to VM post of a few minutes ago… (thanks Disqus!)
Does this mean the 2.0 firmware will come sooner to black XT-1? *crosses fingers*
Wow wow wow… when will the Instax-version of the silver graphite X-T1 be released? When I look at the Fuji financial report, this would be a clear winner! Toys for boys – all this kind of overhyped stuff – a camera is just made for making pictures, it doesn’t matter whether it’s black, silver or pink. Fuji should better concentrate on the next gen, the one that is capable to hold a market position versus the Sony A-range and other 4/3s.
Who cares, the Silver Graphite version of the X-T1 is a ‘special edition’ of the x-t1. We all know that January will bring us new camera’s.
I feel perfectly confident that Fuji will keep up. It might just be that they needed to wait for some new technology (read new sensor and or EVF) to come available. Delays are of nothing new in the tech industry neither.
Got a chance to play with the graphite silver edition at the PhotoPlus Expo yesterday. Nothing special about it (not to me anyway)- I still prefer my all-black edition.
The graphite silver edition did have the 50-140 mounted on it and the electronic shutter enabled. Took a few shots of my wife at 140 wide open and image quality was amazing and had excellent bokeh. Electronic shutter is great for the times that I would want to be stealthy or for when I need the faster speeds for my 56mm f/1.2 but other than that, I prefer the sound and feel of the mechanical shutter.
Got mine as well today. It’s one gorgeous camera.
