Fujifilm France announces “launch of a vast operation never heard-of in the photography world“ for June 19th.

 photo FUJIBIG_zps3cb46bdb.jpg

On June 19th Fujifilm France organizes a show, obviously marketing because it says ….

Des animations photographiques originales
Des performances artistiques
Des rencontres avec les experts de FUJIFILM.
Annonce du lancement d’une grande opération inédite dans le monde
de la photographie…

This translates to :

Original presentations
Artistic shows/exhibitions
Meet the Fujifilm experts
Announcement of the launch of a vast operation never heard-of in the photography world

A pure Fujifilm marketing slogan or is really something big coming soon? June 19th is near, we will soon see what “vast operation never heard-of in photography world” means. I just hope it’s something better than the X-Robot of Fujifilm Middle East (you already forgot it?) 😉

In the meantime, let your X-dreams and phantasy soar free in the comments.

thx a lot to the FR-reader who shared it via email with Fujirumors.

  1. Also stated (on top of the message) : “We invite you (…) to explore our latest novelties and news revealed in preview”

    So… ?

  2. Just as the Americans exaggerate the French often. Blow away, gorgeous, amazing, tack sharp, et cetera. But who knows maybe the French have this time to be right and it’s not a cliché!!

      1. Sure just like Sony got the 36MP sensor first…
Oh no sorry, that was Nikon D800 with a Sony sensor 2 full years before Sony launched their A7r…..

  3. This will not be about a new product (wording would be different in French). It feels more like a new service, which could very well be a lens rental service like the one they just launched in Japan a month ago. Still a bit exaggerated as a ‘never heard’ but not unusual from marketing teams…

  4. Probably some boring photographic project, like a Triggapixel-image made up of only fuji-x series images. BORING!

  5. Well, they’re in the process of laying off 200 people in France. That’s a pretty vast operation, especially for the workers and their families.

  6. I heard that they were giving cameras out for a day so people could walk around and test them somewhere in the states. This could be the same thing.

  7. Here in Lyon I can’t find anywhere to rent fuxi x body or lens. This is second big city in France! In Paris there’s probably 1 place.
Nobody on the phones listed in fuji website as places for renting was able to rent anything! this is shame! I can imagine what this “vast operation” should be

  8. It probably will be something weird – some “photo action” in which “half of the country” should participate, but opnly very few actually will…
I want a camera with a really new sensor, 2 years after the X-Pro1.
