As you might or might not know, Fujiiflm has a “Wonder Photo Shop” in New York. You can check out all the latest and greatest X-gear there, Instax products and more.
Well, a few days ago, a FR-reader dropped me the Fuji Newsletter you can see above (thanks). It says that every last Friday of the month, you can go to Fujifilm’s Wonder Photo Shop with you X-gear and let it do a check-up for free, which inlcudes:
“Updated Firmware (if available for model), Sensor Cleaning (interchangeable X Series cameras only), General Focus, and Function Check (all models)”
I’d love to see many cool Apple-Stores Fuji-Stores all around the world… do you know of some more? Drop them in the comments down below.
FujiRumors Reader Bob Feedback:
“I was just in today and had a couple of my bodies and a lens cleaned – it takes about 45 mins (mostly due to a small line of folks having the service done).
They have free coffee while you wait, and all the X-gear to play with. You can even borrow any of the gear for a few hours to test (free ‘rental’), just leave an ID and credit card)
It’s a fun store – definitely more geared towards hobbyists and the Instax crowd, but worth the visit if you live in town or are visiting.
You can also stop by Eisenberg’s sandwich stop right next door for the quintessential NYC Diner experience and a few extra cholesterol points while you wait ;)”
